How to turn Value for Money Wines into Exceptional Value for Money Wines
The other day I received an email from Waitrose Cellar offering 25% discount on all wines provided you ordered at least 6 bottles (not all of the same wine either)
They do list a number of wines which rate as value for money on our Value for Money Wines Pro App, but I wondered how many wines would drop into the category of Exceptional Value for Money with this 25% discount?
So I went through their list with my app and have picked out some wines which I would rate as exceptional value for money with the 25% discount. Three of the wine were already rated as exceptional value for money at the full price, the Zalze Shiraz/Mourvèdre/Viognier, the Rustenburg John X Merriman and the Moss Wood Sèmillon, so here you really have massive drinking value. As for others, they are already rated either Value for Money or Reasonably Priced, but with the discount all fall into the category of Exceptional
