That Was The Week That Was – September 25 to October 2 – Hardback printed book of Wine behind the label now available
The big news this week is that the hardback printed book of Wine behind the label now has a definite publication date of October 29th. It’s a handsome book of 936 pages weighing nearly 3 kilos, so it’s not for lugging around but it will be a great reference book to show your friends at home.
For lugging around is the pdf version which you can buy half price (£14.50) when you order a printed book. The published price of the printed book is £50/$80. For those in the wine trade or connected with it, there is a 10% discount (£45) – please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your credentials and I will give you a discount code. If you would like to become a re-seller of the book, there is a 40% discount (£30) (minimum order 10 books) and again email me for a discount code.
To help with the launch, we are offering an additional 10% discount for all orders paid for by October 22nd, so that becomes £45, £40 (trade) and £25 (re-seller). Please go to to this link initially.
We are continuing to show vineyard blogs for California and there is also an article on how the recent wildfires have affected the harvest there this year, but the most fascinating story is the discovery of a new (for us, anyway) sine producing country – Senegal in West Africa. These stories and others are to be found on in the News Blog
Don’t forget the VinGardeValise wine suitcase is now fully available from the website as are the new Masnaghetti maps and the Double-Bend glasses from Mark Thomas. Do browse through all the products in our online shop
In the meantime, happy drinking, happy eating and happy travelling
