Wine Behind The Label celebrates 14 years with new guide and re-launched website
Wine Behind The Label has revamped its website with a new look and feel to help bring more of the unique and detailed content contained in the overall guide in to smaller, digestible downloadable information for both wine professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Wine Behind The Label has just published its 10th guide, covering over 4,000 producers and 18,000 wines, which together arguably offers the most comprehensive, and up to date, information on the majority of the world’s most important, influential and award winning wineries, producers and wine regions around the world.
Produced by co-editors, David Moore, one of the original founders of the publication, and managing director, Neville Blech, it features on the ground reports from some of the world’s leading wine writers and experts on key regions and wine producing countries, across its 2,344 pages.
Blech said: “Wine Behind The Label has developed to become so much more than a published guide of wine regions and producers. We are now able to keep both the wine trade and keen wine enthusiasts from around the world up to date with the daily and weekly changes taking place in all the key global wine regions with our enhanced online, digital and web service.
“Whilst the overall guide provides an invaluable one-stop shop covering the world, our website is able to break all that information down region by region providing practical and helpful downloadable reports to help wine lovers and professionals travel and discover individual wineries and producers.”
The new re-launched site, which went live this week, includes an interactive map by which users can simply click on different countries or wine regions to access detailed regional guides. Here you can then choose to download a top level guide including key educational information about that chosen region, or for between £3 to £16 you can purchase a detailed analysis of the area including profiles of the leading producers and their latest vintages and wines. Ideal to take with you when visiting a region or wine country.
The guides have all been produced in digital formats so that they can be accessed online via tablets or mobile devices.
